Richmond's Library is open to all students, teachers, staff, and parents. Students come to the library once each week with their class to check out and return books, listen to a story or learn a new skill. Students are able to choose their own books in our library assisted by the Library Assistant, Mrs. Lynne Cummings. We feel that reading and a strong literature-based program are important to a child's education and that our library is an excellent support for the classroom reading program.
Parents may donate a book or magazine subscription to the library, for example, on a child's birthday. The book will be stamped with the child's name and catalogued into our collection for all students to read and enjoy. See Mrs. Cummings if you need an idea for an appropriate book to purchase.
Students are responsible for returning their own books each week.
